Lead Free Lipstick
Today I purchased a tube of Hemp Organics lipstick. Like the rest of you, I was shocked to learn that tons of brands and shades of lipsticks on the market today have lead in them. Lead is cumulative, so if you've been wearing lipstick since you were 14, you've, no doubt, got some in your system. I found Hemp Organics and several other brands that a very helpful sales girl assured me were lead-free, at Whole Foods. There were some beautiful colors for all complexions and Whole Foods will accept returns with a receipt if you aren't happy with the product after you wear it. I appreciate the testers that allowed me to see the true color. I bought Red Shine, which is really more of a rosey shimmer with a little hint of amethyst - perfect for my fair skin. It's not heavy or sticky, but lasts. Just thought you'd like to know an option for lead-free lips.
